Spider plants are part of a family of plants known for “air-scrubbing” properties. Leave a spider plant in the room, and it cleans the air of dangerous toxins like formaldehyde.
Spider plants also reproduce readily, allowing you to plant the “spiderettes” that grow from the mother plant.
